Hello, my name is Steven Raikow. I usually go by the handle Infocyte online. This homepage aggregates some of the content that I publish to various social media outlets. In my blog and Twitter feed, I usually focus on news and opinions about the tech and media industries, but I also stray into rants about science, popular arts, or anything else that happens to have my attention.
I’m a Senior Digital Media Developer at Porter Novelli in San Francisco. That means that I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, animator and video production specialist. I also build social media marketing strategies, and have a special interests in corporate identity, branding, and the visual display of information and statistics. In my spare time design and build web applications that tap into the seething potential of online social networks. I’m also actively pursuing ventures related to the Semantic Web, as well as experimenting with sequential art and motion comics to publish science fiction online.
